Types of volunteers:
Parent volunteers in educational settings or field trips:
- As part of the application process, District 87 will request a criminal background check. This screening tool helps protect our students and maintain a safe school environment.
- Applications will not be processed without this information.
- All information will be kept in strict confidence.
- If any questions arise regarding the application, the principal will contact the applicant.
Volunteers at PTA/PTO events: Criminal background check is not required.
